Sumner Kirsch to the Moore Invested team as a summer intern

At Moore Invested, we believe financial planning is about more than numbers. It is about people, relationships, and helping individuals build meaningful futures. That is why we are passionate about creating opportunities for the next generation of leaders and professionals. Through these opportunities, students gain valuable real-world experience in the financial industry.

This summer, we are excited to welcome Sumner Kirsch to the Moore Invested team.

Sumner is currently a Finance student at the University of Georgia. He is also a member of UGA’s prestigious Institute for Leadership Advancement. This program focuses on developing future business leaders through mentorship, education, and hands-on learning opportunities.

In addition to his academic achievements, Sumner serves as the Executive Director of Jam in the Streets. This beloved Athens-based charity music festival brings the community together while supporting meaningful causes.

From leadership and organization to communication and service, Sumner already demonstrates many qualities of exceptional financial professionals. Therefore, we are thrilled to help him take the next step in his journey. During his internship, he explores the world of wealth management and financial planning.

Why Internships Matter

At Moore Invested, we understand the value of practical experience for students entering the workforce. While classrooms provide a strong foundation, internships provide important perspective. They allow students to see firsthand how relationships are built and maintained. In addition, they show how financial strategies are developed. Students also learn how advisors help families and businesses navigate important life decisions.

The financial industry can seem intimidating from the outside. As a result, many students do not fully understand the profession’s depth and impact. Financial planning often becomes more meaningful when they experience it firsthand.

By offering internships and mentorship opportunities, firms like ours help bridge that gap. Furthermore, these experiences give students exposure to the human side of finance.

An internship is not just about learning technical skills. It is also about developing confidence, professionalism, and a deeper understanding of how to serve others.

Creating the Next Generation of Leaders

One of the most rewarding parts of mentorship is watching young professionals grow. Today’s interns become tomorrow’s advisors, entrepreneurs, business owners, and community leaders. Therefore, investing time in students today helps strengthen the future of the industry.

Students like Sumner bring fresh ideas, energy, and perspective to our team. Their curiosity and willingness to learn challenge us to keep growing as professionals. At the same time, experienced advisors have the opportunity to share valuable wisdom. This knowledge comes from years of helping clients navigate both opportunities and challenges.

As a result, this exchange of knowledge creates a stronger culture. It is a culture built on education, leadership, and continuous improvement.

Looking Ahead

We are excited for Sumner to experience the daily operations of financial planning and wealth management this summer. He gains insight into client relationships, investment strategies, and financial decision-making. Additionally, he learns the importance of trust and communication. We hope this experience provides a strong foundation for his future career.

More importantly, we hope it reinforces something we deeply value at Moore Invested. Success is not measured solely by financial outcomes. Instead, it is measured by the positive impact we make on others.

Please join us in welcoming Sumner Kirsch to the Moore Invested family. We look forward to seeing all he accomplishes during his time with us and throughout his future career.
