Tom Moore
Founder & Principal Advisor
Tom became hooked on investing when, during his junior year of college, his mother took him to open an IRA account with her broker at A.G. Edwards. He has since devoted his career to honing the craft of making smart, successful investments for others. Before launching Moore Invested LLC, he served as a Partner and Senior Investment Advisor for Capital Investment Advisors, where he guided hundreds of clients in making sound financial decisions to meet their short-and long-term goals. Tom received a BA in Economics from the University of Georgia, and a Master of Taxation from Georgia State University. Tom also completed Oglethorpe University’s financial planner program and achieved the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation from the Board of Standards, Inc. Tom resides in Atlanta, GA with his lovely wife Jenny and their three children, Griffin, Isabel, and William.
Kellie Carter
Client Service Manager
Kellie is a veteran Client Service Manager of two decades. She graduated from Auburn University in 2004, with a degree in Finance. Kellie is originally from Powder Springs, GA and currently lives in Smyrna, GA with her husband John and their daughter Kambrie.
Elizabeth Jackson
Trading and Operations Specialist
Elizabeth joined Moore Invested as the Trading and Operations Specialist. She previously served as the Manager of Investment Operations for a multibillion-dollar wealth management firm. Elizabeth graduated from the University of Florida and received her Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University. She is originally from Vero Beach, FL and currently lives in Brookhaven, GA with her husband, Mike, and their two daughters, Eila and Ellis.
Heather Pennington
Chief Marketing Officer
Heather loves all things marketing and business with over 20+ years of experience. She has been involved on many projects throughout the U.S. including the division 1 Football rollout at Kennesaw State University, Cobb Home of the Braves, along with many other local and national marketing projects. She graduated with her B.A from Kennesaw State University in 2001 and completed her MBA, December 2016 from Kennesaw State University. She was accepted into the Doctorate program at KSU in 2017. After studying in Cuba April 2015, Ms. Pennington wrote a white paper on How US Companies Should Approach Marketing in Cuba Post Embargo and was awarded a Global Engagement Certification for her work. She joined Moore Invested as the Chief Marketing Officer and has two children, her daughter 25 and son who is 20.
Abby Pennington
Creative & Marketing
Abby is a multifaceted creative and marketing professional currently completing her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing at Clayton State University. With over 7 years of diversified experience spanning writing, design, photography, and film, Abby brings a unique blend of artistic vision and strategic marketing insight to every project she undertakes. She is a published author of two poetry books and is currently developing an adult fantasy novel series. Beyond her literary work, Abby has applied her creativity in various professional settings – from managing content creation and social media campaigns. Her portfolio includes being certified in UX/UI Design, experience in WordPress website development, blog and content writing.
